Not The Best Time?

Well my lease on the g35 is up on april 09..If I drive it till the end of the lease, im going to be 10k miles over (yikes i know). However after the lease my plan is to lease the new g37. My question to you guys is that when should I start making my visits to the dealerships in hopes of getting rid of the car a little bit earlier without having to pay the remaining payments? I was thinking like january febuary..obviously playing it cool with no rush hoping to get the best deal. But another dilemma is that I think at that time the 09's will be out and I prolly wont be able to find the 08 of my choice (IP G37 6-MT/Nav). Would I also be better off just getting the 09s instead of the 08s? thanks. The 10K miles over is really really going to kill me ($2k)

what are your lease payments now? Look at it from a financial standpoint.

Will it cost you less to lease a car now and have NO penalty or cost you less to pay the penalty and retain 1 car payment?

you have 6 payments left, so if your payments are under 333, then it is in your favor to get a new car now. Otherwise, keep it and just pay the penalty, and get more miles next time.
