Getting delinquent renewal notice from DMV...

I leased my previous g35 and returned it back to the dealer during the end of August. Now I am getting this notice of delinquent renewal from the DMV. Should I just ignore it or I need to call them and let them know I am not longer in possession of the vehicle?

I didn't file any paper work to DMV saying I no longer have the car, I thought nissan would take care of that

Here in Texas there is a form you file to protect you against just what you are describing (or any number of other "bad" things like the new owner getting tickets)
