Steering wheel is the giveaway, usually.

Did the automatics have LSD? Also what were the wheel sizes for the sport model. I thought it was 18" wheels and then the later models became 19"?

Yes, automatics with sport get the VLSD.

18" for 03-04 sport coupes, 05+ are 19" on sports.

However, rims are available from the factory with a sport package, and are swapped all the time. Rims are not a reliable indicator.

This is definitely an old thread...

But you're telling me if I have the orange stitching(which indicates sports package) on my '06 AT coupe, that means I definitely have the the VLSD? I have the pedals, and the rims... Probably not the stock tires at this point.

I basically had high hopes I could get the VLSD, but didn't realize it was available on the AT. It's an unmolested car, and hasn't had any work done to it.... so it gives me a fairly good feeling that it does indeed have it.

Yay?

Old thread but I just bought a G35 coupe 2007 and with Sport package. Do any one now if I want to install Coilovers do I need special Coilovers when I have the sport package or will coilovers who fit the base models suspension work on my car to?

The car chassis is the same, just mainly OEM suspension tuning (firmer spring rates & shock dampening, and thicker sway bar). Coils should bolt up as long as they are intended for the car as far as I know.

Is there a difference in the suspension between the base with the sport package and the actual sport trim? I've been looking at coilovers and Raceland coilovers say in the description that they will not fit AWD or sport models and I'm not sure what the difference is.
