OP, you know that you can't get a loan for a vehicle that has a salvaged title right...unless you get a personal loan and use it to buy the car. Also, no full coverage insurance. I'm not trying to deter you from it, the price looks good, but I'd make sure the frame is straight at the minimum before I bought it.

I personally would never buy a salvaged vehicle unless you own a shop and can do repair work just in case you have issues in the future.
I'd be cautious buying any used sports car.
I would personally save up some more or buy a older model that has a clean record with low mileage.
Good Luck

Well Unfortunately the car is about 400 miles away so I cant really inspect it..I should be able to just get a personal loan and purchase it. Im also not worried about the full coverage insurance since im 19 and full coverage will be way too much anyways. Thank you guys for your replies, keep them coming.

don't do it!!!!
listen, the VQ engine is a very reliable engine! i have 72k miles on my engine and its still outputting the same hp as it would when brand new. I would buy a Z/G with high mileage than a salvaged one. So what is it only has 11k miles, but if the car splits in half, what good is the engine????????
look at this. for $12995, you can get a well working 2005 350z with no salvage title and u can still get warranty on it. Yea it has alot of miles but so wat! it's not made by mitsubishi!!

why just because of my age? what an immature post from you. Im a safe driver and have owned vehicles pushing over 350HP so I can handle a Z. Just because there are many non safe drivers out there from the age of 16-24 does not mean that I should wait 5 more years to own a Z.

That Craigslist add says it's an 07, and it has the revised hood. But you said it was an 06....which is it? If it's an 07 with the HR motor then I would probably pull the trigger if it was repaired properly.
Damn, I just might beat you to it and keep it as a track car!
