2004 G35 OR 2005 G35? Help!!!
I currently have a 2004 Mazda GT RX8 and selling it!
Found a 2004 G35 black in black with 37000 miles on it with one year of Power train on it, for $17800! But it has the Brembo brake and nav on it. I like the Brembo and nav!
2005 G35 Black on black with 44000 miles on it. half a year on the bumper to bumper and two year on the power train. no brembo or nav on it. I like the REV motor! price is $18900!
What are the good and the bad about both?
Witch one should I pick up??
Help please!

05 and up you will never find any with brembo. Thats an option for 03-04 MT. As for nav you can always put a double din kit in.
Id go for the 05. Newer still has some warranty and has rev up motor.

You'd be better off going with the 05 if its a manual it has the revup motor more top end and 500 rpm higher redline. it also responds better to mods and lets not forget the 2 years powertrain your getting opposed to the 1 year
Thats about what I paid for an 04 (41k mileage) loaded mt WITH NAV/Brembo..But tacked on 3k for a 5 yr bumper to bumper then taxes and financing.

its a tough choice... the navi sucks( i have it) so it doesnt sway me in anyway. And i still loke 03-04 interior better.. BUT brembos vs rev up.... which is cheaper to upgrade?
I would probably go for the 04 with brembos.

Do the seat feel the same to you???
I test drove 05-07's and would have bought one, but could not get comphy in the seats....
My local Nissan dealer got a low mileage white 04 in and my wife liked it and we test drove it. I noticed that it did not bother my hamstrings like the 05-07.
We decided to to get it and was driving up the the dealership when we saw the new owner pulling out of the parking lot....
So, after that, I started looking at 04's.
Anyway, take both for an extended drive. Maybe it's just me....

it depends...
i say 05...cus of the warranty. god forbids anything happens.but its nice to know u have that...
there's a 1k difference in price...
you can always add BBK kits, etc...but a dealership repair/paid for/or alteast covered is worth more than being SOL with a broken car..
also unless u got hookups at shops/performance shops etc...where u can save on parts n labor, i'd say 04 with the brembos..

Plus's of 05: rev-up , half year bumper to bumper, just so you known 05 - 06 are more prone to OC issues...
Plus's of 04: brembos, lower mileage, save $$$, and still have powertrain warranty
