2004 g35 6MT with automatic gauge cluster?

2004 g35 6MT with automatic gauge cluster?

well im looking at g35 for sale. now is the mileage in the cars computer?? or if you switch out the cluster will the mileage go along with that?

also would a 2005 gauge cluster fit in a 2004? if swapped

Mileage is stored in the cluster. The cluster can be swapped (there is a DIY on here somewhere). If your car is manual with nav you need a manual cluster with nav, if it is AT it needs to be AT otherwise your car will go into limp mode.

no what is limp mode??????? because i drove the car.. its a 6 speed but it had a automatic cluster in it (dont know why?) but i noticed that when you rev the car the tach responds extremelyyyyyy slow, i mean slow. also when i hit the traction control button the winshield wiper lights comes on?

is this because of the cluster? and if i bought the correct one for the car would that solve these problems?>
