Its official, I've searched every inch of NYC, and found absolutely nothing. Decided to look out of state, and found two gems, that I've been pulling my hair out trying to decide which to purchase. So I figured, I'll ask fellow G owners, which is a better buy:

If you can swing it, I would pay the extra 3k for the S model for sure. Plus, it's a year newer with 1500 less miles, with a year more warranty.

 

The newer year also has real ipod connectivity -- that's a must for me...

The 18's are nice and I prefer the S bumper ... newer year is better for future resale -- 2k8 with navi -- no premium?? 2k8 will have more warranty in years...

 

neither, wait for an '08 xS with premium nav and tech, you WILL NOT regret it!

Also, wait for a better deal, i got my 2007 S 6MT with premium nav and tech packages and only 21,000 miles for a smidge under 24K

EDIT: mine wasn't Certified Pre-Owned, but I bought it from a place kind of like CARMAX called Auction Direct, so they did all kinds of inpspections and stuff on it, just fyi

 

Thanks for the comments fellas. The 2008 is def worth the extra $3K when you factor in all the options it comes with. *sighs* well I'm heading down to the stealership tomorrow, so I'm hoping for the best.

Just to Clarify,
the 08xS comes with the Premium package, I'm not sure of the Tech.

 

I would definately wait for a better deal. i bought my 07 s nav tech premi with 23Kon it for 28000. certified pre owned. If i had to do it over again i would get 2008 though. the ipod direct connect is somethig i really wish i had. 32k is waaayy too much for that car.

 

Hmmn. And there I am thinking of selling my 13K mile 2007 G35S for 26k. That 2007 is too much IMO

 

as an 07x owner, I think I should add that I would choose the latter. The xS that is newer with less miles. I love my back up camera and I've found it helpful, but not THAT helpful. After all, until I got my G, I drove my whole life without one.

 

I am a owner of the 08 xs Premium package. Definitely a great car. I would go with the xs 08 if i was you

 

2008 Infiniti G35xS in my opinion for the extra 3k you get extra 1500mi, sports bumper,skirts, wheels and suspension(i think) so if you can swing it get it!

 

I think it would depend on what you wanna do with it. If you are gonna drop it or change the suspension and the wheels, then I wouldn't spend the extra cash on the Sport.

If you are on this forum, will you be modding or will you keep it as is. I think that really might sway your choice.

Well I went to pick up the 2008 G35xS, and talk about BS. I was offered $500/month for 72 months. Complete bull****, and waste of my time. Looks like the search continues. Whoever said car shopping was fun needs a jump kick across the face.
