Thinking bout selling my current G35 and buying another one to replace it

I currently have a 06 G35 OB automatic coupe with 64k miles.. Ive been thinking about selling it and looking around for another G35 with less miles and no accident history...

i dunno.. would it be worth it to go backwards? because I see an 04 G35 OB automatic coupe with 55k miles and XM radio that was selling for $18k (that i dont have on mine)

10k miles difference may only be 10k miles.. but thats a probably a whole year of driving till i get back up to 64k miles so i dunno..

then again, I might just spend the extra $3-4k to upgrade to a 2007 with 20k-30k miles and have the comfort of the warranty..

Is the only reason you want go to back is less miles and no accidents? If so it wouldnt be worth it. In todays market you would probably lose money selling your newer one, and still have to pay a $500 to $1000 mark up on the older one you will replace it with. It will probably take you more than 10k miles to break even on that.

from the looks of the market out there right now.. i can possibly get $20k for my 2006 AT coupe (already put it on craigslist).. I recently saw an 07 MT coupe with navi and premium packages selling for $24 but I can probably talk them down to maybe $21-22

still need help on this.. because at 60k miles.. theres lots of tiny things i need to do, like changing filters and belts and liquids, plus its more prone to wear and tear things that'll cause the car to break like the infamous window issue and valve cover leaking and pooling up where the spark plugs are..

I really don't know.. I just don't like seeing the high mileage on the car... what would you do?

If you don't want to do long term maintenance on a vehicle you should just lease cars and not buy them. You'll pay more, but you won't have to worry about a bunch of maintenance later on.

I personally like knowing I can do most of the maintenance on my G. I have a 06 sedan that's got 53k miles. If I were you, while you still have warranty, pull your plugs to see if you need new valve covers already and also change the AT fluid, coolant, brake, and steering fluids. The fluids plus labor should be under 500 bucks. 500 bucks is cheap considering the car would be now ready for another 60k miles.

I'd choose a newer car over mileage anyday. (unless the mileage is extreme)
