Looking To Buy an 05 G35 Coupe 6MT...
Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a 2005 G35 Coupe 6MT.
Exterior Colors: Black, white, gray, athens blue.
Interior Colors: Tan, black
Mileage: Less than 50,000
Packages: Sport, Premium, Aero (w or w/o rear spoiler, doesn't matter)
How much should I look to pay? I see people here who claim they get cars like this for 16k. Where should I be looking to find cars at this price? Most of what I can find is listed by dealers for around 20k list, before taxes and licensing. Is there anywhere in particular I can look or any specific city that has these cars at a lower value? I'm in Sacramento, but willing to travel a reasonable distance if the car and price are right. I really appreciate your help.

I found a 2005 with 50k miles, gray exterior tan interior, sport + sunroof + dual climate control (but not premium pkg). Dealer is asking $19k. Anyone know what I should try to get him down to? If I could get it for $18.5k OTD, would that be a good deal? I feel like many others here have done much better than that.

It was $17k, talked down to $16,500. Car was in another state, so I had to pay taxes and tags separate in my home state (about $360) It was a local trade in, to a wholesale dealership. As I mentioned, it needed rear tires and brakes, new belts and the driver seat has a tear. So I guess that lowered the price. The place was Boone Trail Auto Haus, they've got a network of lots all over NC.
