question 03 or 05 with higher miles

ok for about the same price the 05 is a little cheaper than the 03

theres a 2003 g35 coupe going for 16.9k with 26k miles, is that fishy?

or a 2005 g35 coupe going for 15.9k with 50k miles.

Which one would you go for?

It's in dallas texas, but you cant really use that price because my friends a car dealer so he's giving me a better deal on it.

And both cars are clean titles, and have about the same features. 03 has navi though.

Sounds like a coin-flip to me.

2003 has navigation (which I could care less about) but also has older interior. UNLESS it was owned by a grandma who never used it much, then this would be a great deal.

2005 has the updated interior, but also has more miles per year put on its engine.

Coin-flip.

something is fishy with the 2003 because of the low price price and low miles. Also, Carfax is a bunch of bullS***. If you don't report damage or a wreck (no cops on scene) and have it fixed 3rd party IE: body shop, there will be no reports and therefor, no car fax. You can get each car checked by a 3rd party mechanic. I would have been screwed if i just relied on car fax when i was looking for my G..

All in all, go take both of them to a mechanic to have them inspected. And i have a good place for you to have them looked if you need at since we both live in the DFW area.

Throw me a PM if you need.

Def go with the 05.. Even the 05/06 isn't as luxury as it should be for a car built in 06 but the 03/04 is bad. Ive been in more luxury budget cars, My 2000 JETTA VR6 was 1000x more luxury. Im sure with that little mileage both would be more than fine. I love my 06 but I wish it was a little more upscale ( the interior )
