I bought my 06 IP g35c fully loaded (minus mudguards =[ ) back in 08 for 13,500 rebuilt title.
Had 22k miles on it, im currently at almost 45k with no problems what so ever. In my opinion it depends on how well it was rebuilt and if you plan to keep it for a long time or not.
I dont plan to sell my G anytime soon so im in the positive about my car
Hope my info helps

My credit union will not even loan you money on a salvage title. Not only is the frame probably skewed or twisted in some way, but you also run into failure of parts that were left on the car when you start pumping horsepower out of your engine. A salvage car is good for a few things, parts, engine but only if the car was hit in the rear, then you could buy a clean title drive it around and put the salvage title engine on a lift and build your engine while still driving your car.

That's why you need to do some research and inspection before buying salvage vehicles.

I know when you list car on ebay you input the VIN number and it showed everything
not like carfax, its better

No fire damaged title record
No grey market title record
No hail damage title record
No insurance loss title or probable total loss record
No junk or scrapped title record
No manufacturer buyback/lemon title record
No odometer problem title record
No rebuilt/rebuildable title record
Salvage title or salvage auction record(s)
No water damaged title record
No NHTSA crash test record
No frame/unibody damage record
No recycling facility record

^ that is my cars report, its called auto check score
my car is a salvage but it does not have frame damage or the other stuff
just Salvage title

and there is a rating out of 100 my car got 90 with a salvage title, which is not bad because clean title cars have mid 90's rating

Salvage will cost you in the long run. Even though your driving a G35 its not going to be worth a G35. But then again I'm sure your not going to buy it just to sell it right. As long as it's your own personal car that you might be holding onto for a while its worth it. Make sure you know what happened to the car though. LIke a theft recovery or something like that is a viable option. But a car thats been totaled and fixed Im sure you will eventually run into problems.

I personally stay clear of salvage titles. But really it depends on what the car is salvaged for. If the interior is trashed and the car salvaged and the owner put a new interior in from a parts car, the. I would be okay. But if the car was wrapped around a pole and put together with a new front clip...I will pass. Once a car is wrecked, sometimes they are never the same. You can have suspension issues, electrical quirks from pinched harnesses and other issues I would just avoid.
