Another G or Another Z

Ok so im in the market for a new car but i only want a G35 or a 350z i have had both in the last 3 years I really miss my G but i was kinda upset on how slow it was compared to my stock 07 Z needless to say i made my g35 look stupid sick from paint to motor but in the back of my mind i knew that there was a car cheaper with the same motor that was faster aka 350z. my question to you all is when it comes down to it do you guys look for the VIP look or go for speed? Im starting school soon and I dont know if i should keep my hayabusa and s2k or sell both and get a g or z it takes alot for me to mod engines because i know there is no turning back from that stuff and I know i can always get my money back for wheels and suspension but cams and pistons dont come cheap and you have to sell them for half the price you bought them. either way the S2000 has to go i cant stand it any more its too small and unpractical yes its fun to drive but i get better mpg in my g than i ever did in the S on the hwy. It was fun but im so over the whole honda scene. I am a adult now and i need a car worthy and fitting of my character. question is should i wait or go pull the trigger again and on which one i know a lot about the infiniti but very little about the z cars and yes i know that they have the same motor i just never did anything to my z. and which one do ppl tend to keep longer I dont plan on buying another car for the next 7 years so it has to be a keeper

They are essentially the same in terms of reliability, both have the usual things to look for that are known to constantly be a problem but G's tend to cost slightly higher for repairs. It's really your decision as to what the purpose of the car will be, show or go. But remember, the Z might be slightly faster but it's just as pricey to get it to any serious speed.

yea as far as speed is concerned it will only be bolt on's and nothing too crazy maybe IE and a plenum spacer. wheels and suspension are my key points. going with a hella flush setup. i remember when i had my z i was always like man i wish i had a back seat then when i got my G it was super rare that anyone sat in the back. the G was my dream car and after i built it i was kinda over it. I guess it just comes down to which ever one i can get for the best price.. i see 07 Z's go for the same price as an 03 coupe. this car is only going to be use for school and to travel back and forth from dallas to houston. im gonna check insurance rates on both today and that just might be the bottom line sell point i dont remember what i was paying for each but im sure with my age it wasnt cheap.

I'd say get the Z. You just went through a G so why not switch over to a Z again? It will be cheaper than a G and it is faster. You also said you rarely use back seat so theres another reason to get the Z. In the end, the G and Z are both nice cars.

hmm i personally (being a bit larger than avg) like the G's space and comfort over the Z especially for driving it daily (i drive long distances). i PERSONALY think that the G has more class than a Z, and G provides more luxury i test drove the new 370z and it was fun to drive but it was tight and cramped for me :S
