Well, im thinking about selling my G. Its an 05 with 85K on it. OB 6MT Lowered on S Techs and OEM Rays. I owe about 15 on it still. What do you guys think?

 

Reasons for selling? Can't afford it? Bored? Not Practical?

Not sure what im gonna get yet, prob something substantially cheaper for payment reasons. I just put a deposit on a Brand New Ducati that comes in march. I live in NY and these cars in the winter arent that great so kinda useless. I came up from Florida recently.

Anyway, my payments are about 400 and i still have about 3 1/2 years left with no warranty. I was thinkin about just saving some money for a while. I love these cars and wouldnt mind buying one with much less mileage if i could find one sometime in the future.

I also have crap for credit so not much goin for a co-sign either. So to sumarize. Crap credit. 3 years left on loan no warranty. not practical. life would be easier without a 400 payment! lol

 

So a bike is more practical in the winter ?? Lol

 

LOL na, not at all. Im a toy guy, i always buy new toys. This Ducati is something i always wanted to buy so im gonna get it brand new, pay it off and keep it forever. I just dont see the logic in paying so much for a car gettin close to 100k with no warranty for another 3 years. I was thinking about getting a winter beater and then maybe leasing something in the spring. I work for Mercedes so i get pretty good lease specials here and there.

 

did your ducati cost as much as your g?

 

O ic , what made you buy a G if you work at Mercedes? Just wondering.


But the G's are reliable pass 100k if you just kept up with regular maintenance.

I have 2 more years until my G is paid off (I currently have 66,xxx miles on my 04) but I always find myself looking at other cars lol. I want a alpine white 335i coupe bad!! There getting affordable

 

Ducati is costing me $15000. Trying to pay off a third of it before i pick it up in march.

I bought the G because its honestly my favorite car with the exception of ferraris, porsches etc... My dealership sells BMW's too. I had an E46 330Ci which i loved so just having them here is tempting to me too! LOL

 

I have 40K on my G and less than two years to pay it off. I'd love a 2K8 6mt. Alpine White/Red leather interior 335i BUTT, think I'll pass on the payments. I'll keep pimping my G until Infiniti comes out with a replacement to the G37.
God only knows what kind of crazy ride they will come up with.

 

ive got an 04 with 90k miles on it paid off, and lately ive also been looking at other cars. mines hardly modded, and i love my g but not the interior. so far ive decided to keep it till next summer. so i can get me credit safe and some money saved up, hopefully get a g37 coupe. and as far as research shows theres probably 2-3 more years before infiniti comes out with a new coupe, that is unless they make the "ESSENCE'

 

Are you sure you can even get 15k for it? That's a lot miles for a 5 yo car. Even if you manage to sell it at that price you might still owe $ on it.

 

I owe a little less than 15. But im still not sure about selling. I just made a deal to sell my wheels and order new ones. LOL Im all over the f*kin place!

 

my 03 w/ 54k miles fully paid off the day i bought it. had it for a little more than 1 year. i been looking at cars recently thinkin about switching up. but probably not going to sell my car for 1 main reason: they are not worth crap. sorry to say, but the g35's value has went down dramatically. it has become the next civic, ppl only willing to pay less than 10k for this car and want like 100k miles on it just to have one. it sucks.

if you can find someone who would buy your car for 15k, i say do it. because within a year or so, you probably wont be able to get more than like 12k for it.
