Interested in buying a G35

I emailed the guy he sent this, a friend said its kinda weird he selling it so quickly.

Good morning Anthony,

I will start by answering your question and I will follow up with a little background info on the vehicle.

-This car does not have a timing belt but rather a timing chain and Is not part of any scheduled maintenance. In fact when I inquired with Nissan they specified that it does not get replaced. However following the Nissan service schedule the water pump would be due for replacement at 160,000km.

I have owned the car since last fall and have all the receipts for any of the maintenance performed on the vehicle. I have spent all the money bringing this car up to speed with mostly all typical wearable components replaced as well as heavy preventive maintenance. Reason I am selling is that I have ha to have back surgery and it pains me to drive a manual car.

As for the clutch... From what I know the clutch is original, however has no evidence of slipping or weakness. A clutch that has been properly driven can last upwards of 300,000km...

When I purchased the car last fall I had a carproof report conducted on the vehicle, this report showed that the car had never been in any accident nore had it ever been to a body shop for any type of work.

Here is a list of the recent maintenance:

-Oil changes with full synthetic mobile one every 6k
-New Nissan drive belts (fall 2010)
-New rear diff fluid, tranny fluid, brake fluid, coolant March 2011
-New air filter Fall (2010)
-Rust proofed (Only winter driven last winter)
-New NGK Laser platinum spark plugs April 2011
-New valve cover seals and PCV valves April 2011 (valve cover seals go on these cars around 130-150K and cost a lot in labor to replace)
-New Front and rear Hawk Ceramic brake pads May 2011
-New 88 front and rear slotted and cross drilled racing brake rotors May 2011
-Preventive full Brembo caliper rebuild using new bushing and seal kit May 2011
-New oil pan April 2011

Recent upgrades: Spring 2011

Professionally installed Eibach proline 1.2” lowering springs (500$ installed)
Professionally installed Eibach/SPC adjustable cast and camber front control arms (1000$ installed)
Professionally installed Eibach/SPC Rear toe and camber kit (400$ installed)
When lowering a car a lot of people don’t get all the proper camber kits to ensure that the car gets back into factory alignments specs, when not using camber kits you get uneven tire wear and undesirable handling characteristics. The way this car was lowered was done using all top of the line components and then received a 300$ alignment to ensure strait as an arrow driving and no uneven tire wear. Uneven tire wear is a big problem on these cars even when not lowered. I still have the original springs if you want to go back to factory ride height.

-This spring (March 2011) I also upgraded the wheels to the 19” factory Infiniti Rays forged wheels and had them fully refinished before installing them to the vehicle. I also had new Yokohama Avid Envigor tires installed them. This upgrade alone cost 2500$...

As you can see this is not your average G35, this one has been meticulously take care of and has a couple of toys on it (no nav). If you are looking for a car that that is going to need some work and has not necessarily had anything else done but oil changes you may find one but this car is in prestine mechanical condition and ready for many years of enjoyment to come.

If you have any questions or would like to come and look at the vehicle, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

I was hoping for someone's opinion? the car is priced at 16.5, gonna try and bring it down to 15. think thats possible?

also its at 141k km

thanks guys
