Good deal on an 03 G35coupe?

Hey guys,

I am looking to buy a car within a week.

I checked out an '03 coupe this weekend. Car is in EXCELLENT condition, only 52.5k miles. One owner. Only thing that he has done to it is 19" rims w/ almost-new tires.
He was asking 16k for it, but said he can go down to 15.6k

The other option that I have is an 04 BMW 325Ci. Also in excellent condition inside and out. 67k miles though, asking 12.8k.

What do you guys think? Is that a fair price on the G? I know it's pretty old, but has very low miles.

Thanks in advance!

Sounds high to me and should be lower in price. Where are you located and what is your budget along with max miles. Any specific features like transmission or color.

Don't choose the BMW since maintenance expensive might add up with high mileage German vehicles. Fine automobile that needs some love in the maintenance department down the road. I would rather put $$$$ towards mods and not towards unnecessary electrical issues.

Fair price but can be lower with negotiations

Edit

Nice manual coupe with a new transmission under warranty and private party $14,500 (No vin listed!!!)

Clean autocheck $13,900

$14,900 (Autocheck states it was registered in Houston texas in 2005 during storm. Need to check for flood damage if serious)

Yea, it does seem a bit high, but the car is in amazing condition. I am in So. Cal. and haven't found any other cars within 100 miles in this condition. I did find a black 04 with 60k miles for 13k, but it was sold the same night I e-mailed the seller. My max that I'd like to spend (before taxes/DMV fees) is about 14k. Looking for an auto. Not set on one specific color.

Yea, I Know that maintenance is very expensive, but 12.8k vs. 15.6k is a big difference and that money can be used towards maintenance/future repairs. This car is in pristine condition. I'm honestly over modding cars, I just want a stock car and am torn between these 2.

Yea, these cars are definitely cheaper, but I'm not sure about their condition. Might be worth it to pay a bit more for a 1-owner car that has all maintenance records. Not even a scratch on it.

Since you have checked out the vehicle and these others are much farther away I would try to negotiate a little more on price. Make sure to have a body shop check it out and have the infiniti dealer give you a service record along with pre purchase inspection.

I have linked some cars but have no clue about condition or anything. These stood out to be for price and should be something you look into if you care and try to negotiate price.

Here is an 05 priced at $15.5 but do your research and forward me a vin so i can run an autocheck

2005 for $15k @ 44k miles

2005 at 81k miles but $11500

Here is one that caught my attention in LA 2003

The last one does seem like a great deal! Either that one or the San Diego one you posted. The only problem is that I pretty much have to get a car by this weekend, so it would be a bit of a hassle to go to San Diego not knowing if I'd even like the car. I will e-mail both sellers though.

Thanks so much for your help!

Not good to be in that much of a rush to buy a car. However, given that, $15k tops I think. The guy will buckle.

The Bimmer sounds good, but you have to look at maint. records.

Yea...I sold my previous car earlier than expected. The guy came with cash in hand, so I took the offer. In the future, I will probably buy a car and then sell my old one though.

He has all of the previous maintenance records. Even from the 1st owner, and he had someone at BMW pull up all of the service records, including any recall services. The car really does look like new. New tires and did the major 60k mile service.
