I will be moving to NY soon and I decided to go with a g35x since I wanted AWD ,a sporty ride. Although I like MT I can do without it.

Let me briefly state my expectations :

-- I want to be able to put in around 15K miles per year and keep the car for at least 2 years.

-- It should be fun to drive and good on snowy weather conditions.

-- Front seats should be comfortable for several hour trips.

-- Maintenance cost should be low. Now, my previous vehicle was a BMW so I am not expecting a toyota like no maintenance cost, but it should be reasonable. If it is like $2K+ a year I will simply look elsewhere.

Planning to buy the car for less then $10K and having several thousand dolars at hand if anything goes wrong. Also I am looking for 2003-4 if possible, around 100K (Early 100K so that the first major maintenance has been done like changing water pump). But I am not familiar with g35 very much.

I will use this as my daily driver, I expect the mechanical components to work properly, other things need not be in perfect condition.

u can buy a g35 coupe for 10k with 100k.

i dont have a G but have i a Z. The engine are the same anyways. The maintenance is nothing. It is ridiculously low. i spent less than 500 dollars a year on maintenance. unless u have to change tires then it would run over that amount.

My cousin have a G and the maintenance is low too. if u dont abuse the G then it will last forever man.

it is a japanese made anyways
