Cool Please Help Me

Hey guys, I've owned a 2000 Toyota Celica GTS and want to sell.

I'm looking into the G35 or a 2008 Suburu Impreza.

I'm curious which you would suggest based on the fact I want something:

1) Reliable
2) Fun to drive
3) Good in winter

I basically determined I would ideally like AWD, because Buffalo winters suck. I do like the g35x, but does the auto perform well? Also are these transmissions reliable (both in normal and manual mode)? I've never owned an automatic, but I am debating because of the X. I LOVE the interior of the G, perf leather, elegant all around. I think the inside of the RS is boring and just blah.

I've heard the boxer engine is one of the most reliable out there. But I know Nissan (infiniti) is good too.

Thanks guys for all your input and suggestions.

^ Any car can be reliable or a crapshoot depending on the previous owner. Have you test drove both the Subaru and Infiniti? Which one did you like more?

I'd suggest spending alot of time reading the threads here on Driver as well as myg37 to get a better idea if the g35/g37x is a good buy for you.

There're both reliable cars. Go test drive both and see which one you like more.
