^ One thing i am glad i didn't do is buy the extended warranty from infiniti, they don't cover much at all. Slipping trans they can't refuse no matter what but dealing with them i am sure is annoying on the phone for hrs.

Look around this forum just to see the tons and tons of threads dealing with people fighting Infiniti for oil consumption, window motors, seat motors, rear axle click, ect. If you go on the G37 forum, you will find tons more.

Quality is **** poor and customer service just makes it 100 times worse. I only have 30k miles on my car and have had so much problem fighting with dealer I dont even bother anymore. I just take my car to a local shop I trust and get everything fixed out of my own pocket.

Also if you check the JD Power rankings for Initial Quality (number of warranty service issues). Infiniti is consistantly getting worse. In 2006 they peaked and were ranked 2nd in overall quality. 2010 they were 9th. 2011 they were 11th. Right now they are barely above average.

Their prices keep increasing, but they quality keeps decreasing.

Then if you combine that with the fact that Infiniti is the 2nd WORST ranked in customer satisifaction. It really is a bad choice.

Amazing... My car has been an absolute joy to own and drive. I've never had a problem with anything and I think it's quality is top notch. I feel as if some of the forum members paid $10k or less for they're g35's and are complaining about the quality of an 8 year old car. Aside from that, all other complaints and arguments are valid and appropriate.

I got my car brand new in '03, the only complaint I have are the brakes. I have to change the pads every 2 year or so. Other than than, no problem whatsover.

I had 0 issues with my G35, my G37S was at the dealer literally every month. Worst car I've ever owned, also a reason I'll never buy an Infiniti again, along with the horrendous experiences with the dealership and CA.

I have had 2 G35s and 1 G37. I have probably been to the dealership about 8-10 times a year. They are always painful and a fight to get them to fix anything. Honestly I could really deal with the poor quality if their customer service wasnt so sh*tty.

Every single time I take my car in, I just wait for the dealer to call me..... "I am sorry Mr Brown but we have determined that the leak in your sunroof was caused by your aftermarket exhaust and wont be covered under warranty. It will cost 4200 dollars to be repaired and will be ready in about 3 weeks."

The bmw out performs the infiniti in every way. The difference in looks is subjective.. both cars have their share of problems, but stock for stock, the bmw will run circles around infiniti when it coms to performance, and if you chip the car, then forget about comparisons..bmw will own the infiniti..

Might be that dealer... I don't have any problems with mine. My service advisor is awesome. I call her directly and she even points out stuff that I should get fixed since I'm still under warranty. Funny thing is that I never notice them but she pointed them out for me and got them all replaced free of charge.

Both our infiniti's were bought brand new, our FX and our G, both crappy quality, and customer service sucks even with us using the same dealership we had bought 3 infiniti's from & bought our warentys from and everything so don't try to say I paid 10k for my car and thats why i'm bitter. Infiniti is just crap and is getting worse as the years go by. I have told my dealership that its thr fault no one in my family will be getting another infiniti...sucks for them the week before my mom was looking at a M56S.....
