Dumb questions the bank asks when financing a car...
Yesterday, I finished up the loan process to buy my G35 and they asked me a bunch of stupid questions and it got me wondering if anyone else had the same experience. Post up your "Dumb bank questioins" here. Here's mine from yesterday..
Why is that when you're buying a car USAA asks a bunch of stupid questions? For instance:
Why are you buying this car?
- Uh... because it's the one I want..??
Why are you financing this car?
- Because I don't have that much cash.. duh.
After telling her it is a 2006 with 65,000 miles on it, she asked me if it was used???
- No, it's the new discount line that Infiniti just came out with. WTF??

I do auto loan apps for customers all the time, but never ask such stupid questions as the ones mentioned above. Maybe the person helping didn't have common sense. I agree though, some of the questions they require us to ask are absurd, but those I don't even ask and answer myself.

I just went through the same exact problem with USAA...great insurance company, needs a ton of work on the loan department though!
