Mustang GT (2005+) vs G35

Hey guys I was wondering which one is better the new line of mustangs or the recent model g35s. I really want to know about the maintenance and reliability of both cars. Which one is better in terms of not having to take it to an auto shop. I would like to know some common problems with both of them too and price. Thank you

Do a search on "G35 vs Mustang" and you'll get a bunch of threads.
You looking to get 6 MT or auto?
coupe or sedan?

6mt coupe I've done that search but a lot of the searches come up to the older mustangs like the 94-04 mustangs. I'm more interested in the newer ones and their reliability vs g35 and their reliability

Well in terms of reliability is hands down g35. It gets the best ratings in every way

Look at it this way, domestic vs. import. Here again, its all about how YOU take care of it too. IMO...I would take a G35 over a Ford Mustang any day. Its all about personal opinion though. What do you like better???

I honestly like them both. The mustang is definitely cheaper and responds well to modifications. On the other hand the g35 is a luxury/sports car with an interior miles better.I strongly agree with you that it comes to how people take care of their cars and would love to find an old grandma that only drives their mustang or g35 to church. Anyways, the reason why i posted this form up is to know which one is better for a newbie car guy like me, but I'm going get into cars soon.

It kinda sounds like you really havent made your mind up yet. Maybe do some research on both cars and gain more knowledge. Check out some youtube vids on both cars to see which one takes more of your interest. Try talking to some owners of both cars and see what they say. After all that...you should be able to make that choice yourself. You have to remember that your asking G35 drivers which one is better. How do you think we are going to respond, lol. Hope this helped and good luck on your big discussion.

I'm not too sure right now, considering the prices of both cars the mustang is cheaper, but the g35 is better quality in terms of finish. Its hard to say at this point, I will definitely test drive both of these monsters, lol can't wait to sit my but in a sweet g35

well, you know what they say, you pay for what you get. Mustang is cheaper for a reason. The G35 is just a better car.
