cel = run imo..they told u it was for the intake which its not so seems like they were hiding something plus its obviously been owned by a younger driver who did a few things to it which you have no idea what has been done or done right or wrong...and where i live u cannot have a cel or anything like that for inspection. so just seems like a headache waiting to happen to me..then u say the rear end feels funny...my question is why are u still even considering it with this going on.. unless u wanna buy the car and take a chance on having a project car...only way i would consider it still is if they fix the problems before taking ownership

I dont think big red flags for me.. Ask the dealer what you can do about the fishtailing problem and if they are willing to lower the price a bit more; but honestly this is a good deal i think if they give you the right answers you should go for it.

i honestly dont see this as a great deal if the car was perfect, sure its not a bad deal but in no way a steal..and lowering the price sure thats good but then ur still left with a car u just bought that you have to go take somewhere and figure out whats wrong with it and still fix it..just seems crazy to me

It is a reputable Lexus dealer and the sales rep was very upfront with me. After I told him regarding the problems, he very well told me that if I have a slightest doubt then I shouldn't consider it. Maybe they don't want to fix it because they don't have a knowledgeable Infinity service mechanic?

The deal just seems way below going price around the area and the problems don't seem immense so that's why I'm still considering it. And plus I don't want a 4 cyl TSX.

seems to me if it was a little thing they would just fix it...would be much much easier for them to sell if there were no issues

u dont have to be an infiniti expert to fix the problems stated

Well what he told you is very true.. if you dont ABSOLUTELY love it.. wait it out trust me. You will find one just be a bit more patient so unless you have no doubt in your mind this is it, dont get it no matter the price or millage

Yeah all of your points make sense. It's just that I have a rental until Saturday and need to find a car until then. This process sucks. lol

Yeah I was shocked too but the Carfax is 1-owner and clean as a whistle. When I check it out, it seemed like it came off the assembly line. The navigation and etc is attractive but that damn 4-cyl.

that tsx prolly gets 30+mpg which is a huge plus these days..and is clean and low mileage 1 owner with no issues..seems like the winner to me...neither car is gonna be a race car correct

No never seen a race track in my life. Only daily driver. But I'm so used to a VQ35 from my previous car. Thought I might dip into the G35 world but I'll keep dreaming.
