I am in the process of selling my black on black Infinti g35 w/ 41k miles but I have not been getting any interest or any type of offers from anyone. My car is listed well below KBB value. I listed the car at 18800 and I stated that the price is negotiable. My car is listed on this forum, Craigslist, and Autotrader. The only reasons I can think of is because the car is modded and automatic. The people who want manual do not mind mods (younger age) but the people who want automatic want stock (older age). So what do you guys think I should do? Return to stock? Only major modification is aftermarket 20" wheels. Out of all honesty, I do not want to go thru the hassle of buying and selling wheels, but I may have no choice. I need all the advice I can get. I want this gone within 3 weeks or so.

 

I hear CarMax is not a bad way to go although I would always want to sell private party.


For the most money back, it's always better to go back to stock and sell off any aftermarket pieces separately. Usually no one will give you fair value for any mods that are already installed & some older buyers would even look negatively on their presence. OEM G35 wheels are always available on my local Craigslist and you can also check your local junkyards.


If time is truly of the essence, you will probably have to take less than what you want as opposed to waiting for a good buyer. GL.

 

Yea defiantly revert it back to stock.. it will sell much faster. The only place people dont mind a modded car is forums like this so you can try to post your sale here. If not reverting is the best way
