Give me the dirt

I wanna get an 03 or 04 G35 coupe (can't afford the 05) and I've been creeping around this forum in the "What do you hate most about your G35" and I would like to know what other serious defects or problems the g35 may have.

I understand the most common annoyances are:

1. Seat belt issues
2. Failing window motor

I went to Edmunds too and they say there is a problem with the 03 regarding the Heating or AC unit. But I want to know what problems you, the owners, have had like: tire wear, road noise, tranny issues, electrical faults, **** like that.

How often do these faults happen and how much have you paid so far to repair them?

Really? No replies in 42 visits? This car is looking pretty good right now if the only problem is the seat belt.

Aside from MPG, they are great cars. The only thing you need to worry about is the 6MT Oil consumption problem. If you are getting an automatic, you should be fine.

why would we reply to your tiny thread about common issues when we have other threads that many members gave input in. What else do you want to know about the vehicle that is not already discussed in the thousands of threads on my350z, g35driver, 6mt, nicoclub, 350z-tech and 350zMotoring.

Again Search in those threads and forums and you will find everything you want to know about the VQ motor, The Platform and everything in between.

Also genius if you read those thread...actually read and comprehend you would see the transmission in 2003-2004 were below cd009 revision and all had issues with grinding. Instead you talk about seatbelts....smh
