I wanted to know if a plenum spacer would give gains to my car and if so how much? I've read a thread where they state it wouldn't give gains to any motor over the year 2005

Just "a thread"?
Why not try to read MORE threads, learn about what car you have, and then figure it out

Be nice.
This is the most common mod for the G35. It will definitely make you feel like you got your money's worth in sound and a little performance. Nothing is going to put you into the seat that is bolt on w/ no tune. I would totally recommend it though.

I'll be nice and just help: yes you can use a spacer on your car. Yes you will see a gain. This is because you have a 5AT.

Spacers don't do anything for the "REVUP" engines that were in 05+ 6MT cars, yes there were two slightly different engines based on transmission options back then and can get slightly confusing if you're just now getting into the G game.

That should be enough info for you to do some additional searching.

Actually I know a bit about my car and the plenum spacer I've installed the plenum myself and after reading the thread it kind of bait gave me a scare thinking I wasn't getting at least a slight diff in performance I mean I know I have a nonrev up engine but like I said that thread just put a scare cause a bunch of users agreed and I didn't want to feel like I wasted my money

Yes, you will get a gain.

The DE motor has a design flaw that slightly starves the two front cylinder of air. What the intake spacer does is provide a bit more flow to those cylinders giving a slight boost in power.

It's probably the most power you'll gain from any single N/A mod you can do to these cars.

Partly right, pair it with an Mrev2 and that spacer does quite a bit.

Edit: 2006 g35 sedan 5at 115k miles.

Yes, it is worth it and can feel and hear a difference that is measurable on the dyno. It's also fairly simple, just don't kink the gasket.
