Is this a good price for a 2003 g35 sedan?

New guy here. I've been doing research on 03-06 g35 sedans and decided to get one due to the power and handling. I don't want to drive a torque less Honda anymore. I'm going to buy a g35 sedan this weekend. I found this one for $8999. Two owners, black, clean title, and 130,000 miles. 2003-2004 sedans in my area still go for $10k-up with around 100,000 - up miles. What do you guys think is a reasonable price?

Around here I see 03-04s with 130k mi selling for $7.5-$8k. Most of the ones advertised at $9k have more like 100k miles. Could be a difference in markets though (I'm Chicago market). I bought my 03 used with 65k miles on it for $11k and that was..almost 2 years ago. I have 94k miles on it now and when I look up values for it (kbb) I always see about $9k retail value. The guy I bought mine from is advertising an 06 coupe with 73k miles for $14,9.

Also, its worth noting that other than age/mileage, my car is exactly the same as the one you're looking at so the only variables are market and mileage/age.

Be sure to check the usual suspects (oil consumption issues, issues with the Bose CD/Radio system).

8k for that car wouldnt be bad..at 130k miles you're prolly going to end up spending money on maintenance.

Price is really secondary to the maintenance record when buying any used car. If it is not well maintained, I would not touch it at any price. Ask for maintenance record.

Thanks for replying back everyone. $8k does seem reasonable for that car. I'll make sure to ask for maintenance records. I'm going to do a pre-purchase inspection also. Hopefully everything goes well and I'll be driving a g35 this Saturday.
