2004 g35x with 150,000?

Hi,
New to the forum. I am looking at a 2004 g35x with 150,000 miles. Car has no leaks and runs strong. 2nd owner with some records. He will take $5000 for it. Is this a good deal and what do I need to look for? Thanks, Todd

See if he changed the transmission fluid and transfer case fluid.

Compression rod bushings, lower control arm bushings, and bad sway bar links are the usual suspects when G shopping for an 03/4 model. Also, if the stereo won't work or the A/C is stuck on or off, it'll need a new radio or JDM double din kit to fix.

I think maintenance has alot to do with longevitiy. The rest is design.

I haven't heard of crazy issues with Gs and high miles. There are quite a few around here over 200k.

I have an 04X with 125K and it runs strong as hell. That doesn't seem like a bad price if the title is clean. I would probably want about $8-9K for mine with 125K on it.

I have 155K miles(bought with 125K) on my G35 coupe, and I am a spirited driver. Just make sure you do the oil changes and whatever maintenance. Problems I had to deal with in the past were fuses blowing for my tail lights/side markers/parking lights(a 30 minute fix with a lot of water breaks in Texas summer heat) and the window motor blowing out. Right now, I think my camshaft sensor is starting to fail(a recall but also a 30 minute fix) which I will be fixing tomorrow. Other than that, my G has been reliable!
