Looking to buy a G35 2006 coupe AT

The car has 70k miles with an engine that has 28k miles. I was wondering what things I should look for with the car. I've read a lot about the oil consumption issue but would like clarification so if it's an AT coupe it should be ok? I know the engine put in it is from a 2006, I need to make sure it's from a AT car, though I imagine it would be. They're asking for 11,999 for it. Might be able to get them down to 11,500. Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated as I've never owned a car like this one!

Why was the engine replaced? Does it have an aftermarket warranty thats still valid? The non-revup engines (5AT) don't usually have the OC problem but there's still a chance. Make sure the service history is complete and that the seller has proof if the car was not serviced at a dealer.

I'm buying it from an auto place that buys cars that were damaged and repairs them. This car was in a fresh-water flood and I believe that has to do with why the engine was replaced. The place is providing a warranty for a year, possibly more on the engine, anything electrical, and anything else they worked on.

Here is a link to the car. http://nkyauto.com/show.php?id=195&m...el_year%20DESC

The interior is probably the worst, it's just a bit dirty on some of the things, but by no means is it bad.

Wow I really hope you didnt buy this car. You can kiss about $10k of that amount good bye if you ever decide to resell the car later on. Then again there is a sucker born every minute. FWIW you can probably get a 06 with similar mileage for around 16-18k.
