Is this Turbo G35 worth $16.5K ???

I just purchased my 1st G35 stock coupe and am so impressed with the car that I was thinking of buying another that has many mods rather then going the route of upgrading my stock little 04. Does this car sound like trouble? How much do you think he spent on this car upgrading it?

Thanks!

Well first off, it's supercharged, not turbo'd. But it's definitely worth it. It has 100k on it, any you'll likely run into some problems/wear&tear later but it still would a lot cheaper than modding your own car.

I have seen this car in person, it is in IMMACULATE condition, i had planned on selling my G and buying his but work is keeping me out of town and unable to do so

He has all records to go along with the car and I have a copy of the carfax and it is clean

PS This thing sounds amazing/Has a silencer so it doesn't whistle as loud at idle as other vortech kits and looks like a million bucks!

Hi, I am the owner of the car. It has a substantial amount of money invested. Will it be trouble? It was my daily driver for many years, and it's been great to drive.

To remain trouble-free it doesnt have a stand-a-lone engine management system, or a piggy back system, it utilizes the stock ECU. So it starts great, idle's great, no check engine lights or driveability problems. The supercharger provides a real stock feel, with a great linear power delivery.

The car passes emissions without any problems, the transmission has super low miles, and the engine is very low mileage. The suspension is new, and all maintenance is done.

Most of the trouble areas on this car from the factory such as lower control arm bushings, differential bushings have been upgraded so you wont have to worry about them ever being a problem.

The car is garage kept, and I take excellent care of it with all records to show for it. Feel free to give me a call with any questions. Thanks.

Coming from someone who has a TURBO not a SUPERCHARGER on his car, Things do break. I have a fully built engine, transmission, etc. IF you constantly watch things such as Air fuel, Temp you are fine. Some people think that when they mod their cars it will stay reliable, and thats not always true ESP. with BIG power adders. Heck Since the turbo, I have had to get a new rack and pinion, and my clutch went out. Parts become a tough more expensive. BUT the clutch went out because of me. I used a single disc with 500ft/lbs of tq. Should have used a dual. But if you drive like you have 500hp all day long things will break all day long. If you drive responsible and watch out for things, then it will last and last.
