2004 Infiniti G35 sedan Aero, Should I buy it...???

Hello everyone,
I am new to Infiniti world. I am on the market to buy my next car and was particularly looking at 2004-2005 Acura TSX, just yesterday I came across 2004 Infiniti G35 4door sedan with Aero package, 6 speed manual, silver and 138000 KM on it (not miles). Car is in great condition with all service records and one owner, drives nice although shifter feels little "rough" compared to TSX i looked at earlier, it is an original clutch but maybe this is the way these cars designed... Seller is asking $8700 Canadian $ and wont go any lower. I am wondering if this is a good price and since i have no previous experience with Infiniti cars I want to ask you...how reliable are they? Should I buy it? Anything in particular I have to look at when buying it?
Thank you all and hope to get some feedback !!!

Thanks for your reply, I was under impression that clutch can go up to 200000KM if driven properly...

based on $USD that's a good price, not sure we're much different from Canadian.

The Acura will have the "honda" reliability to back it up but so will the Infiniti if well maintained.
I say leap for the Infiniti if you want to have more fun with the car... stick to the TSX if you're worried about the cost of gas.

That sedan has the sport package, but not the aero package. The aero package comes with color matched side skirts, the Aero (Nismo) front bumper and a rear lip.

Question

I am just trying to see if it is going to be a reliable transportation as Toyota or Honda products.
I don't want to buy a car that will be infested with problems...From this forum's threads I see it is less reliable then any other Japanese cars, maybe I am wrong..?
Thank you all !

i thought aero package adds some stuff on the bottom of the car and the spoiler..

the aero body kit adds the body kit..

As far as I know, If it doesn't have the bumper, skirts and rear lip it doesn't have the Aero package. I could be wrong.

Thank you for your replies!!!
I am just wondering, In general are these cars reliable? I used to drive Lexus and Toyota cars and they served me very well in terms of reliability even with high miles...Just want to make sure Infiniti is on the same level, because if not I will keep looking ...

I worked for Honda, drove Honda, convinced my entire family and most extended family to stick with Honda and none of them ever regretted it. From what I can tell the maintence is a bit more with these cars but the reliability can be there if you keep up with the small stuff.

The G35's aren't for everyone, which is why most of us probably chose them.

There is a mileage thread around here somewhere. Several people have ventured into 200,000 miles + withoug issues.

Personally, my 2004 sedan has 130,000 miles on it now and runs better than the day I picked it up 4 years ago with 28,000 miles on it.

Just take care of these cars and they will take care of you. Routine maintenance should not go ignored.

Thanks guys! When should I expect to replace the clutch since it is an original one? And how much does it usually cost? Or maybe I can find DIY forum ....
