possibly buying a g35

Hey guys just looking for some opinions on pricing for a g35 i'm looking at.
http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hn...341357651.html is the car i'm looking at i talked him down to 6700 but it does have the salvaged title, but i trust him that the car is mechanically sound. does that seem like a fare price?
my other option is a g6 gxp 2008.
Other random info i have to consider is i live in mn and rwd can be fun but also a pain in the ****.
thanks for the help and any info on problems i need to look at for that year would be awesome thanks

since when does damage to the door make it a salvage title...my guess is that it took shot shot the whole unibody was all bent up...you get what you pay for..as for Me I would look at something else

I just bought my 03' same color and all. I found mine with only 47,000 miles on it. I got it for $11,000 and it has 5,000 in rims and tires on it (volk gt-7). What im saying is I think you get a better car for the money if you look harder. IMO

if its salvage is because it was hitten really bad that had to bent the chassis.. it wont be the same as a non salvaged look a little bit harder u get what u pay for like they said.

What do you plan on driving in the winter if you buy this car?

Not necessarily. I've seen tons of cars with salvage titles that had only cosmetic damage, but the insurance company takes many things into consideration when they make the determination of salvage vs repair..

vehicles do not receive salvage title due to the damage they sustained.
They are considered totaled if the repairs are more than 70% of the vehicle market value.
In the case of this car, because it's 2003 a damaged spoiler would total the car.

I have driven salvaged cars all my life, so that isn't my concern, I will be taking it for a long drive and up to 85-90 miles a hour if something is out of whack it is going to show up. But you guys don't think a 2003 with only 90k miles is worth 6700?
another question are you able to put a after market deck in a g35 looks like the dash is all one piece?
thanks guys i know these are simple questions for you but if really saves alot of hours of searching for answers

only runs on premium, 19" tires are expensive, and you will go through them
