Smile Seeking advice in regards to purchasing G35 coupe

Hello everyone

This is my first post here..
I've previously considered getting a G35, and at that time, went for a VW Mk5 GTI, but I'm in a situation now to buy a second car, and decided on a G35 coupe, which I hope to buy in the next few days.

I'm from Australia, and we only have the direct import models, but being *** imports, they are usually low km's for the age.

I'm looking at buying from a dealer, and currently I there seems to be only 2003 or 2005 models, which have travelled usually under 40000kms.

My questions are:
1) what if any are the major differences between 2003/2005 coupes?
2) do either year models have any notorious faults I should look out for?
3) some models have the full leather, and some have half leather/cloth trim... are there any other differences between such models?
4) are there any generally common faults in G35 coupes?

Thanks in advance guys~
And any other advice/tips would be greatly appreciated!

2003 and 2005 have no difference on the exterior, only interior is different. 2005 model has much BETTER looks than 2003. Either models have a fault that you have to see, oil consumption issue. search on the search box for further detail on oil consumption. 3. the only difference is clearly the model option.. like base or premium. 4. oil consumption issue is the only common faults in g35 coupe. hope it helps.

Oil consumption is the only real big issue, most common on the 6mt.
Still happens with some of the autos but a lot less so.
Axle click and clutch clicking/sticking can happen too, those are easy fixes though.
