Which is worth it?

Greetings,

I am currently looking at 2 pre-owned G35s but I'm not sure which one is the better deal so I request you guy's intake on helping me deciding which vehicle to purchase.

The 1st one is a 2003 coupe with 120k miles, clean title -- $9,200

The 2nd one is a 2006 coupe with 74k miles, clean title -- $14,000

Both looks very clean inside and out (from pictures).

120k miles is past my comfort level for a car of any kind. 74k is a little high, but it will have a lot of life yet.

The 2006 has better headlights (projectors) better interior and less miles. I would go with the 06. Cash talks, so maybe you could get the price down a little?

Go w/ the 06. If you pay cash, they might drop the price a bit

I also like the 06 better too. Originally the seller was asking for $15,000, but after some talking, he said he would only go down to $14,000.

Another one I am looking at is a 2003 coupe with 99k miles.Clean title, clean carfax, never been in an accident, had major tune up at 87k miles -- $12,800

Based on mileage, I would go with the 06. Do you have any pictures of the cars?

Other than the interior that car looks clean. As long as you don't mind the red seats I say go for it.

They look out of place though in that car.

They look better when the red is carried throughout.

The '06 is a better idea since it has fewer miles and has better "Stuff" than the '03. Hand the owner $12K cash in hand and see what kind of reaction you get and let him know that's all you can afford!

I agree w Gary. If you have cash in hand, it would be harder for him to say no. It's worth a try just don't get mugged.
