Great deals, Which one would you rather buy?

Hi G35Driver forum members, I have been lurking on this site for about a month, and have been monitoring G35 ads for about 2 months. I have finally found two really good finds, and I need your opinion on which one is better.

this one is going for 13'000$, young owner, the fact that he states it has been repainted due to someone keying the car worries me, I do like the rims they look like the stock alloys that have been painted black looks like the person did a good job. I cant tell what kind of deck has been installed from the interior pictures. anyone?

This one is 10'500$ 03 mature driver and it only has 100'000 km on it, it is bone stock, talked to the owner briefly and he said he has another g35, and that the car is not insured and is parked on his driveway.

whats the most important things i should be looking at when it comes to checking these cars out? Oil sludge with the 06s, underbody? clutch slipping?

Ad #1 the paint looks like it's a really shotty job, its a MT so if it was youth driven chances are the clutch is beat to crap. That is a stock head unit (probably a bose since its the upgraded package minus sunroof) Those are the stock wheels painted black (looks like their missing some center caps). That garbage paint job would drive me away immediately especially since its youth-driven.

Ad #2 Looks clean but is overpriced IMO, with it uninsured that means it's been de-registered so that is somewhat suspicious but of course everyone is selling for one reason or another. When it doubt do a carfax.

Happy Searching, don't be too anxious

I'm biased when you say that. Keep in mind the 03 is 10 years old and is the most basic. I picked up an 05 with upgrades for 9K with only 74k on it. You need to just keep searching for the right deal to pop up and jump on it, don't beat around the bush

what are the changes from a fully loaded 03 to a 05 except the rev-up engine? Sounds like you got a good deal, did you talk the guy down, private/dealership?
