Hey so I have an 03 sedan 5at with popcharger, plenum spacer, 350z resonator, 350z springs, slotted rotors, and blacked out rims and grill. My friend knows a guy who is selling an 08 G37 S 6mt with 56k mile for only 15,000. Should I try and sell my car and get this? And if so how much could I try and get for my car? I work at a service shop so my car has had a full synthetic oil change at every 2,500-3,000 miles. And my car has about 130k on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated

 

That seems like a pretty good price for the G37.

You won't get much for your car, in fact, it'll probably be easier to sell if you revert to stock. Mods don't add value. But I expect that 7-8k is about all you'll get for it. Look up KBB, NADA, market values, etc.

A friend of mine had a 03 6MT, then a 06 6MT, and now a G37XS. He says that he likes the power of the G37, but he can definitely feel the extra weight.

Aesthetically... well, that's your call. I quite like both.

 

I would say keep it. I've fell in love with my 04 6MT but just like you I once thought just like you about upgrading. I've driven an 08 G37xs and it felt just wrong...Power, sound but not the feel of course it could be just that it was an automatic.

I also drove a top spec 2012 g37 6MT and I loved it from the design to the power and of course the luxury. If only i could afford the 50k to own it outright.

 

Not doin it cuz it was a salvage and the door was all ****ed:/
