SHOULD I BUY - 2007 G37 Sport Sedan
36K original miles, garage kept, new tires and front brakes...
Asking 16900 firm...
Currently have a 2005 TL with 156K miles, and its a SOLID car, no problems...
G35 would be a Daily Driver.
Anything I should look out for/be concerned with? Any major reliablitty issues with engine/trans/rear limited slip dif?
Is that a good price? Below NADA clean retail....and car is such a low mileage car...
Any/all thoughts are apprecaited.
MOTIVATION by the way is to sell acura while its still worth a few $$$, and get into a new daily drivers thats reliable AND nice....
Thanks in advance....first time posting!

the 2007 sedan would be a g35, so is it a 2009 g37 or a 2007 g35? i'm guessing 2009 because of the low miles?
my 2008 has been solid, just tires/brakes - oh, and front bearings on one side. wait, a upper radiator hose was replaced too. that's it, 79K miles.
you could test the oil pressure, search the forums here...

I'd have paid that for a car with so few miles. I recently bought my 1-owner, full dealer service history '07 S for $12,500 with 104k miles... I'd have jumped on something with 36k for not much more money. I've only put 2,000 miles on mine, but it's been a great car. There are some common issues that you can read about on here, but in general, it's a very solid car.
The listing on mine was $12,900 "firm", but a $100 PPI from the dealer with a $600 105k service (which is around $100 to DIY) coming up worked in my favor... but a 36k mile car should not need anything major, maintenance-wise. I'd still take it in for a good look to see if anything is leaking or otherwise in need of repair. I'd still offer something like $16,300 and see what happens. In my experience, "firm" just means that they don't want idiotic lowballs.
As for the TL, I chose mine over an low mile '07 or '08 TL Type-S. The Honda 3.5 is a nicer, smoother, and better-sounding engine, but the Accord roots show through a bit more than I liked. It's a great handling, fun car, but damn that torque steer in the 6-speed cars. Plus they all squeaked and rattled over bumps, and my G with twice the miles does not. I was replacing a '14 Accord Sport that I didn't really like though, so that may have had something to do my aversion...

Anyway, OP, did you buy it?

I bought my 2007, 1 owner G35S (Nav, tech pkg., adaptive HD & cruise) last month with 50K milles for $15... Still smells new!
However it hasn't been trouble free - lost a A/C compressor due to corrosion on a fitting (seller replaced) & an alternator (my $). In other words, even with low miles it's still 8 yrs old - have it inspected & you should be good to go!
