Hi! I just bought a 2005 G35x sedan with 183000 Kms on it for $7200. The test drive went very well, engine runs very smoothly, there were no vibrations or weird noises in the cabin. Body is in near mint condition too.
The only thing that I'm unsure of is that if its worth getting a warranty on it. Due to the KMs on the vehicle, the only worthwhile warranty on it is a 2 year unlimited KM powertrain warrenty for $1200. This covers mostly powetrain stuff like the engine, tranny, alternater. driveshaft, etc. The salesman says its worth it because of the age and cost of repairs to an Infiniti makes it a good deal. My friend tells me its too much for only 2 years of coverage. Do you guys think this is worth it for a car with this many KMs?

If it doesn't cover everything, that is too expensive. I purchased an extended bumper to bumper on my car for about 1800 and it's already paid itself off.
Thanks for the advice! Is there anything I would watch out for in a G35 with that many Kms? What parts will start to fail at this many km? Spark plugs, etc

My car had low mileage and I had to already replace some bearings, one cat, 2 tire sensors, and tie rod bushings. All were covered by the warranty. I am not sure when the spark plugs are due.
