Considering selling an 2008 G35x - advice wanted.
New to the forum guys. Love driving my G35x, problem is I never drive it anymore because I live in downtown Boston and walk everywhere.
I've got a 2008 G35x with just 35k miles, in very good shape, but considering selling it to take in some cash in the short term. If I decide I can't live without a car in the city, I'd probably just lease the new model.
Am I crazy for selling the car at this point? Since it cost $36k originally, and it's worth somewhere in the $21-23k range, I'm looking at it as I basically spent $14-16k over 5 years to drive it (not counting routine maintenance). That works out to about 3k/year. I feel like I'd be coming out ahead.
Thoughts?
