I'm trying to find a new home for my '03 G35 Coupe so I thought I would ask the forums if its the price of the mileage that scares people.

My G is fully loaded less a NAV system and I have it listed at $9,950 with 132k miles. I get the fact that people are scared of cars over 100k miles so I'm wondering what kind of buyers market there is for a car of this age. Theres no way to convince someone what kind of shape its in but its a Florida car that has been garaged since I bought it, and not driven in the winter. Check ups done by the book, i have receipts for oil changes/maintenance records and a clean and clear title.

NADA has the '03 with 132k miles at $12,200 for top retail so I figure my price is reasonable, I'm not going to say a 10 year old car is perfect...but its close! Maybe some of you on here could point me in the right direction for selling.

Cheers

++++++1 that's more than reasonable price, some people won't touch a car over 100K however these cars go forever when well maintained so that shouldn't be a problem.... I would say that price is very fair, but these cars take time to sell, simply because people search for them, and might have a list of a few to check out, it's not like a ford mustang, where you just pick one and be done, care is taken into buying a G35

Awesome, thanks for the response guys. I'm in no hurry of selling so I'll just have to wait until I find the right buyer. Cant deal with these $5k offers all the time.

if you have legitimately had offers of $5k when you have it listed for double that, i think that gives you total permission to be a complete jerk to those people.

+++++++++++++++++1 I agree.... that's total douchery.... I mean, I would offer $9k and see if that stuck, but 5K offer is just a daddy looking for a cheap car or teenager trying to see if they can get a car nice for half the price.... I wouldn't even respond to such an offer, that's bad faith offers in my opinon....
