Depends on location, an 03 auto with a decent amount of miles should be cheaper in my experience, but you are buying from a dealer...

Buying a car from a private party is great if you have $10+K laying around, but like most people, you will have to finance it. A larger dealership with a decent reputation will get you a good rate (based on your credit) and you will have an opportunity to get an aftermarket warranty through them as well.
Make sure you get a carfax and as much info on the car as possible. Get the VIN# and see if a local Infinity dealer can run a report for you for any past service and or recall work.
People like to give their opinion on how much to pay for a car, but it is all based on where you live, car condition and how much you want it.
I just bought an 03 5AT with 94K for $11K from an Audi dealership, got a two year warranty, every service record from Infinity (where it had been serviced since day one), Navigation, heated seats, Desert Platinum with black interior and there was not a single flaw any where on it (female original owner).
I wanted one, found this one and bought it because I loved it and I am not worried someone will tell me I paid too much.
Just make sure you look before you leap.
And post pic's soon.

IMO too much for 03. I got my 04 with 64K from a dealer for $13.5K out the door. Depends on how long up you want to negotiate with them.

But you live in Missouri. I lived between Grandview, Belton and KC for 8 years and wouldn't consider buying a car that has been on those roads unless it was garaged every winter.
Buy a car in California that has never been outside the state and you should expect to pay more than a car that could turn into rust dust after a few more years.
Nothin against your car, but like I said, cost is relevant to location, condition and history. Missouri history unfortunately is not great. You can say it has never been in the snow and salted roads, but only time will tell.
I'm glad you feel you got a good deal. Maybe yours is that one in a million.

Don't know history other than no accidents, but I completely stripped the car down for sound dampening and replaced exhaust/suspension items with no rust seen. I drive it during winter through salt and snow, and I take time to spray it down and dry it every 2-3 days. Also, my apartment last two years had no garage, and I parked outside every day.

But I do see your point. In Cali, you probably more likely to buy a car that hasn't seen as much road salt as in Missouri. But you truly won't know until you get the car up on a lift and start shaking suspension components and checking the under panels. You should always inspect it or have a mechanic you know inspect it before you buy. Just because its in Cali doesn't mean it doesn't have rust.

Oh, and that price I paid was almost 3 years ago, and it came with a 1 year warranty from the Toyota dealer I was at. Me and my dad used our natural Asian haggling for 1.5 days .

payed 18k for my 07 fully loaded with 55k miles. IMO 13k is overpriced.

If you do the mileage vs. cash comparison, the 03 is a better deal. $12 or less would be better, but at just over 5K a year for mileage, that car sounds babied'er.
I am not sure about the oil consumption issue though, can someone enlighten me? Did the 03/04 have the issue as well or was it 05 or 06 and up?

Pretty sure the oil problem came up starting with the 05 revup engine. More info here: https://g35driver.com/forums/tsb-tec...ption-tsb.html

Back to the OP, it's not a bad deal considering it's at a dealer. See if you can get it out the door for that much or maybe even less... the taxes and fees will add on at least another 1-2k.

pretty sure only the rev-up engines had that issue.

I think its not a bad deal, considering the car has literally no flaws to it at all the outside and interior looks brand new! I'll have more pics tomorrow if I decide to try and get it.
