I told him id give him 8500 for the car and he said that hed take it. Do you think this is a good deal for this car?

 

Fair Price for that car as far as im concerned, kind of depends where you are located.

 

that a hell of a deal but im sure there some maintenance thats overlooked

 

$8,500 for an 04 with 70k seems like a good price. Be sure to get a second pair of eyes, preferably a mechanic, to spot out what the seller might not have disclosed, ie. evidence of previous damage, mechanical issues, small repairs, etc.. additional pictures and service records will also help.

 

idk bout op's area but in my area kbb for 03/04 is about $14k excellent for that mileage

Hard to believe a car that's taken care of the owner would let it go that low below kbb. If ur a wrencher n the titles clean its still a steal if theres no obvious serious mechanical issues.
