Need Opinions on this lease G37 lease deal

The deal is as follows....
2013 G37 Sedan 6mt Fully loaded

Negotiated price.... $33,999.00

With taxes and fees..... $37,479.23

24 month lease... 12,000 miles per year

Payment options are...

$388 per month with $0 down.
$254 per month with $3000 down
$232 per month with $3500 down
$210 per month with $4000 down

Also....

If I were to purchace the car.... the negotiated price is $30,999.00 ( they said there are more incentives on a purchase so the price is higher to lease? )

And 2.5% - 2.7% interest rate depending on term 60mo or 72mo.

Whats your opinions on this deal?

$9318 down the drain if you do the 2yr lease. Seems like a lot of dough to burn up in only 2yrs. If you look at that $388 payment and extend it out for fun (I bet you would end up leasing something again in 2yrs), it would take 6.6yrs to pay the $31k cash price, but you'd be left with nothing because you leased. Find a good deal on a used one, or finance this one. You can get 1.5% through alliant credit union, or even as low as .75% (not a typo) through penfed. Penfed can't be beat but you have to use their car buying service and I think they only do 48months at that rate. I just used alliant CU for an FX45 purchase and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Thank you for the feedback. I've never leased before and this deal seemed too good to be true.

What's the residual? How long to do you plan on keeping the car?

Look into the purchase of a slightly used 1-2 year old car. You can get one with around 20K miles, still under factory warranty and find the money you save would be very significant vs the purchase of a new car.

However, the big question is do you keep a car 2-3 years, or 5+ years? That would really set the tone for lease vs buy.
