What do you think my 2003 G35 Sedan is worth?
What do you think my 2003 G35 Sedan is worth?
*2003 4 Door
*152,000 Miles
*A/T
*White in color - Paint is chipped in several places but otherwise bodywork is clean
*Burns a little oil, but runs great
*Added 3/16 Plenum + cold air intake - otherwise clean under the hood
*Headlights very yellowed
*Seats have tears in them
*Radio doesn't work 1/2 the time
About to put new tires and new brakes on it....so my question to you guys is...with a 2003 G35 like this one...which is a little Ragged....what do you think I should charge for it???
Thanks for your help - looking at Autotrader hasn't told me anything - it basically says I should sell if for 6-9k ....but I was thinking more like 4800

Only worth about 4-5k.
Do not bother fixing anything. It will cost you ~2k for new tires, brakes, and headlights which will only add about $500 worth of value to the car.
Just sell it as is.

Take the mods off and put the stock parts back on. Won't affect your selling price. Leaving them on would just be a bonus for the buyer.
Sell them on your own and make a little bit of extra pocket money.
Fix the headlights with some PlastX or other plastic polish, clean the car up VERY well and list it for $5K as is. Expect to get talked down.
How bad are the tires and brakes? If they would last a little bit longer, sell the car as is. Otherwise you might need to replace the parts. People would be hesitant to plop down $4500 or so on a car, only to have to soak another $2K into it right away. If they wanted to spend $7K on a car, they could have looked for something a bit newer with less miles that needed nothing. But if you were to spend the 2K yourself, you've only raised the price you might get for the car another $500. It might be easier for you to knock $500 off the price of the car and sell it for $4000, vs dumping money and time into it and getting $4500.
Sell the spacer and CAI and there's your $4500
