$11,000 CAD. Includes 2 sets of rims, the 19" rays, and a set of 18" winters (yes, I will be winter driving this, im going to get a set of Nokian Hakka 7 studded tires).

If I can wait until next wednesday theres a 03 with 110,000 on it that is mint.

Funny how when the seller finds out you're a mechanic they cough up all the dirty details

If it hasn't been answered already... 03-04 6MT came with Brembo brakes, package was removed due to high amounts of break dust (sounds stupid but people are stupid haha) they did continue on the 350z though...

Now heading onto what year you want. If you like all the "bells and whistles", 05-06 would be your culprit simply because they have a few appearance changes over the 03-04. What does that include? Well both the 05 and 06 got updated interior (minimal, nothing huge at all), updated gauge, "updated" NAV, memory seats, and other small things. The 06 has all that and updated headlights and taillights (which I wish my 03 had ). The 06 model also got a different sport tail, front bumper, and skirts, oh and I almost forgot.... Both the 05-06 sport have forged ray 19" rims.

Due to your price range I believe your best bet would be an 03/04... You won't lose much performance if your going 6mt, I believe the 05/06 have a little over 10hp/10lb tq more then 03/04.

Either way all years will still have you excited for every drive! Good luck finding the right G

The REV-UP in the 05-06 is 18hp more powerful and generates like 2 pounds LESS torque. But it does rev to 7 (im a 4 banger guy, my A4 could rev to 9k... So im used to high revving), and has variable exhaust timing.

As far as bells and whistles come... I could care less. Im coming from an Audi, theres already 300% less crazy crap inside of the car, which is nice. Though I do miss my dash display!

I was thinking of doing forced induction on one of these cars, but I think I will leave it stock, maybe put an exhaust on it. I got a JDM badge kit from a co-worker for $50 (all badges, OEM Nissan stuff), might put that on or just sell it.

Funny, I was looking at 350Z's because I though hell why not, I got an insurance quote, it's 10x as much as my G will be!!

They are dangeroso.

FI will cost the value of the car in the long run.

REVUP has some great modification options.

Not really planning on FI.

I was just wanting to open up the exhaust and intake, I can't stand the stock exhaust note, needs more throat. If I can make a 1.8L 4 banger sound like a 5.0L V8 im sure I can make a 3.5L V6 sound good. I don't really want to do any mods, after losing $20,000 on the sale of my A4 because of mods... The G35C is cool on it's own, it doesn't need a turbo or any other goofy nonsense.

I am kind of scared the the REVUP after reading about faulty piston rings. I've done rings before, it's not an experience I'd like to re-live.

This is true.

From everything I've heard and read, these G's are pretty tough, and don't require me to be constantly wrenching, like all my old euro cars did.

I personally prefer to buy the last year of a specific generation. So with a coupe, that would mean I would only consider a 2007, if looking for a 2003-2007 generation. Now, sometimes there might be something that would make me consider a 2006, or a 2005, but it would have to be excessively clean condition, low miles, or a combo of the two.

03-04 will be right in your price range. Aim for lower than 80k, or plenty of service records. Clean title/history as well, though you could find a deal on a accident having one also. The best to buy is 6mt with black interior, Nav's a nice addition but it's pretty lame. Those are also the toughest to find. Add a white exterior and you'll search for months++. 05-06 6mt's had issues with oil consumption, though if you keep constant watch over it it's not too serious. The newer you get the more options you get. I'm personally a huge fan of the Brembo color, the earlier headlights and tail lights, and the price I would love to get an 07 mt, as those came with bluetooth and keyless start I believe, after I sell my 04. But then again, might as well get an 08 for $17-19k. Most common issues are the door locks and windows not working, don't let that stop you from buying because if it's not broken, it probably will be eventually unless already replaced with a better one. The interiors also changed slightly in 05+, but I have never been able to tell much of a difference other than the instrument cluster.
