G thats been in an accident
Hey, I already own a G sedan, well, my father bought it for me but he took it back from me, so Im interested in mying my very own. I found a 2006 G coupe for $9,500 cash with about 124.7k miles, I feel like that is a lot of miles but my current G has 129k and its an 05. The dealer also told me its been in an accident, he showed me on the Carfax but i didnt get to look at all the other records. All it said was an accident was reported, no details. I don't know if its major or minor, dealer said he thinks its minor. Is there a way to find out exactly what happened? I took pictures of what I think might be the accident damage but I'm not 100% sure it is. From the looks of the damage, it looks minor, but im not convinced. I've attached pictures below and I'll also add the classified. I'm really interested in it, I feel like even though the miles are a little high, it'll last me a while with 0 major problems. He said the battery, brakes and rotors are brand new, tires have pretty good tread left as well. Please keep in mind I'm 18 and I'm a senior in high school so I can't really afford a newer G. I appreciate the feedback!

Carfax doesn't show that the airbags were deployed and also no total loss reported.
Carefully check to see that the doors, hood, trunk and body panels line up. If they are straight and it drives straight and the suspension is tight you should be fine. If not, walk away and keep looking for your next G.

Nice to see the car fax shows your soon to be G had its first oil change at 58,386 miles .
This wheel type was very prone to flaking in our seasonal weather. I would like to assume the damage is only minimal and that bump on the back is from backing into someone.
This is fairly good deal mate.

Lol yeah I noticed that too, kinda worries me a bit. But I feel like its a steal for the price. Do you think the fact that the oil was changed so late damaged the engine?

Good luck on you're test drive. Yes, definitely give haggling a shot.
Point out the rims, cosmetic imperfections (no oil changes for 58k) etc and the cost to fix them.
The worst they could say is no, it's not like they will jack up the price or not sell it for 9k.
Again, if it doesn't accelerate & shift smoothly, drive straight with hands off the wheel, corner well, or it klunks during braking/cornering....keep searching.
