Hey everyone. I'm new here. I'm looking into purchasing a 2nd gen g35 sedan by January. I found one about 2 hours away and it's a color that is uncommon which I like. I've seen black, silver, and red 2nd g35 sedans but never a serengeti sand until two days. It made me turn my head while driving. It's a very classy color and made the car stand out.

What I'm worried about is the mileage. It has around 120,xxx miles but 1 owner with all maintenance records. Serviced at a Infiniti dealership it's whole life. Price has been lowered again and is currently at $11,687. The dealership is in the middle of nowhere even though it's a big dealership specializing in Jeeps & Chryslers. Should I make the 2 hour drive to trade in my coupe? I currently drive a 05 g35 coupe with the sport package. My budget is under $20,000. The lesser the better. The car will be used for the weekends only.

Up to you if you want to drive 2 hours. I've done it before for a car, and it was worth it. Really your call

 

I live in Portland OR and bought my coupe from San Francisco. Lined up the deal, flew down, took possession and drove back, same day. 650 miles. For the right car its worth it.

 

I would take the ride and buy!you will not find many that were maintained like that one! I have a05X same color l love it! Mine was maintained like yours by Infiniti since new. Also got two yr extended warranty. I dont think you can go wrong with that one unless you dont buy!

 

I drove 3 hrs to pick mine up at a dealer but worth it for my 1 owner /mint condition G. I say go get it.

Edit: just looked at the car fax and wow, rare to find a car serviced like that every 5k miles at the dealer, definitely a good deal, I bet you could offer 1k less and pick it up for a Damn good price

 

A lot of positive responses. Thanks. I will take everyone's advice and suck up it for the 2 hour drive. I'm going to take a look at it this weekend if it's not sold by then. Keeping my hopes up. I really like this color and the price is right.

 

I hope it is still available for you! I love the color! It looks clean when dirty.It was only available a couple years.l got the first yr 05. 07 l think was the last yr.
