2010-G37X Coup vs 2013-G37X Sedan
2010-G37X Coup vs 2013-G37X Sedan
Hi,
I'm thinking of getting a second hand Inifiniti G37. What are your thoughts on these two:
2010 G37X Coup Preimum - 25,100 KM for 33,000 (1 owner)
2013 G37X Sedan - 6,100 KM for 33,000 (Demo sale/Loaner Program)
Neither has had any accident. I really like the coup, but on the surface the sedan looks like a better deal. The sedan, just seems too good to be true, I think something must be wrong with the car. I don't know how people drive loaner cars...
Several questions:
1) When buying a second hand G37X what should I look for? What would you say are its weakest points? break pads?
2) I haven't been able to find an Infiniti Certified Preowned program in Canada? Is there no such a program? Or maybe I haven't looked in the right place?
3) Do these cars last a long time? Is it a good investment?
4) Can I buy factory extended warranty from Infiniti?
Any experience you could share with me, is much appreciated.
Regards!

What are the prices?
I've actually found that G37X coupes are selling for the same price as similar year G37x sedans. The RWD coupes sell for a little more. Guess nobody wants the AWD coupe and prefers the RWD instead.
The 2013 sedan does seem like a good deal though. Without knowing more details, hard to give you a recommendation on it though.
I bought my '06 as a lease trade in with 20K (32km) miles on it. It's lasted me 131K (210 km) miles so far now with very little issues. Rides great still too and i think i can take it to almost 200K before getting rid of it.

That '13 sounds like a deal.
I wouldn't worry about it being a loaner/demo. The demographics of most looking to buy/lease a brand new Inifniti is not the type to hot rod them. 6100 km (3900 mi) is nothing really to worry about.
I had a '93 Lincoln Mark 8 that was a demo car. I found it was actually trailered around to car shows and displayed at one of those "new model" shows they put on by the manufacturers. It's 2nd owner picked it up with 2500 miles on the clock. I got it around 60K miles and it was still running great
