Extended Warranty Transfer Woes
Extended Warranty Transfer Woes
I thought I would issue some Advice/Warning on dealing with the incompetent employees of NESNA (Nissan Extended Service of North America).
I bought my 08 G35 back in mid Dec of 2013. I called Infiniti Consumer Care to get the process rolling. They emailed the Transfer request to me, I got it filled out by the previous owner and sent it in with the $50 check for processing. Mid Jan i get a letter back stating i need to provide proof of ownership/purchase/registration of the car in my name to complete the transfer. This was mailed back to them and listed (in their system) as completed on Feb 19 2014. I tried to take my car in for service and the warranty is still in the previous owners name. So no service can be done. I call ICC to get some answers and they insist it is in my name. I have them check all systems to insure it is my name and the ONE piece from NESNA is still in the previous owners name. I call ICC every morning for about 2 weeks to keep on them and follow up to get this done. Then they tell me NESNA has record of me sending in my info and paying but now i have to send in all my paperwork again to get it processed. I LOST IT!! NESNA has NO advertised means of communication. no emails, no phone only an address in TN that cant be verified. After 2 weeks of kicking and screaming the AWESOME and i mean truly AWESOME folks at ICC got my warranty transfered and issued me a $300 service credit as an apology for NESNA screw up.
I bought my car with 86,000 miles and now i have 93,400, my warranty expires at 97,408. NESNA will not extend my warranty mileage even though they are COMPLETELY INCAPABLE of performing a simple edit to a policy. If any one here has contact info for NESNA i would LOVE the opportunity to speak to someone there and explain their shortcomings. thanks for letting me rant.
