Narrowed down to 2. Which G35 to get?

HI Guys i really like this car and i've decided to shop around for one. I've narrowed my choices to two. A 2007 G35 Journey with 39k miles for $17900 from a small private dealership, no scratches seen in and out, 1 owner. The second one is a 2008 G35 Journey(No backup camera) 69k miles for $16900 at an infinity dealership, few wear on the steering wheel and gear, 3 previous owners. The 07 color combination is very beautiful compared to the 08. And how much can i bargain the 07 if possible? Thanks

The 07 hands down.
How could you even have any doubts about that?

Yea i was leaning towards that 07 but i was still torn cause the 08 is at an infinity dealership so their mechanics worked on it and its $1000 cheaper lol. Im on a budget. Another issue i noticed in the 07 is the sensitive throttle at low rpms but it seems like theres a fix for that.

Def the 07. Just the three previous owners should help you decide! That 07 has YEARS less miles on it.

Other than an inspection it's unknown what the dealer actually worked on. You can have a mechanic inspect the 07 if you really wanted, hell you can get infiniti to do it if you really want, it'll just cost you. Vehicle history check might be good to get too. $1000 is not much of a discount for that many extra miles even with the "infiniti dealer experience". Unless the small dealer is shady, that is.

Just think, in two years the 08 will be hitting 100k while the 07 will only be at 70k.

In addition, there is very little changes and improvement between the 07 to 08 model year. If it were the difference between a g35 and g37 that would be a different story.

Not understanding why you would go to a dealer? That's like throwing $3-5k away. I found a G35 Coupe (2006) with 50k miles on it for $14.5k. If I was looking for a G35 sedan, I can say that I have seen PLENTY of 07-08 Sedans for sale at the $14-17k range, no tax, no fees, no BS. Maybe this is a financing situation?

The extra $1000 is worth it cuz it has half the miles. Plus you can probably talk em down $1000 if you've got a silver tongue.

Though i hate dealerships, i used them cause i wanted to finance and also save energy. Ended up getting the 07. I made the best decision. Its very clean and has had 1 owner who didn't drive much, must have been an old person. Definitely the best car i've ever driven(prev cars owned: 92 accord, 02 civic). Got my first speeding ticket less than 24hrs after i got it lol. Took it to infiniti dealership to get it inspected. They told me that the car was very well taken cared of and the owner took it for all the 15k mile services. Just need to replace rear brakes in about 3k miles. Glad to be in the club.

That's great, man. Congratulations. The seats gotta be a real upgrade from what you're used to. Be warned tho, its gonna be hard to find a better all around car from here so keep it nice; you'll have it for awhile.
