6 speed Manual Transmission = 6mt

That does not make sense in the sentence

 

6mt is a dedicated g35 site just to manual transmissions, if that isn't stupid enough.

Quick question though, thought I'd ask here rather than open a new thread. The trip computer on the Nav says Im getting about 18-19 MPG, and thats mostly highway. Is that normal ?

 

Sadly, that's about right. Sometimes I get 20.

 

Ah okay, I don't really mind too much.. seems to be the only downfall of the car to me haha. I saw some posts somewhere on the forum with people claiming mid 20's MPG, is that just bull or possible?

 

No, I get 24. Reset the lifetime mileage thing and try it paying attention to it. I drive fairly conservately at 65-80 depending on how late I am for work, but i drive 80% hwy.

Tire size, tire pressure, oil weight, mods, maintenance and of course how much fun your right foot likes to have are all factors, but for now (while the car is new to you) just take the 19 and have fun. Car is healthy at the mpg and I'd just worry about it later.
