Hey all,
I decided against getting a Z and I am looking at two G's. One being an Auto White, and the other being a Manual Black. They are both the same price and have roughly the same amount of miles. Which is the better deal? Also, is it as hard to keep black looking nice as everyone seems to say it is? Thanks!

only reason I'm saying white and it's just from observation here, but when you see the mods the black one has you can maybe figure a younger person had it and may have beat on it..clearly both could've been beaten but first impression lol

I would pick the black one because the white one has the tan and its an auto. I would beat them down on the price on the black one because it has a couple aftermarket parts and that brings the value of the car down. I think $13,500 would be a good price for it.

If you don't mind asking what aftermarket mods are on the black one? I'm a noobie when it comes to looking under the hood and knowing what is what but yes that would sound like a reasonable price thank you

That is a good point, when I go to the dealer I'm planning on asking some details of the previous owner. If both cars were Auto it would be a no brainer to choose white but I really want a manual car haha. Thanks!

It has aftermarket rotors, cold air intake, exhaust, and its debaged. But I will say the paint is in really good condition for 8 year old car. Also these are the things you can tell the salesman to get them to bring down the price... It has a tear in the drivers seat, It has an accident, and there are no service records on the carfax (doesn't necessarily mean it had no services done).

i hear you on the 6mt thing
Now that you say the black had an accident now I'm even more inclined to the white one.

So if you were in my shoes, would you get the white even though you'd highly prefer the manual?

Drive both and see If you could drive that for a couple years. I made the mistake of buying an automatic G35 the first time, don't get me wrong it was really nice, but the automatic was bothering me, so i traded it in and got a 6MT g37

Will do, to make things clear I've never driven a manual before but I have a strong urge that I will really like it.

I'd personally go with the white G. 1 owner, accident free and looks to be all stock so you can start fresh and modify it your way. Although if you really want a 6mt, like previously stated, you can use the accident the black G has listed against the dealer and you can haggle to a lower price.

only if those two Gs were the only two shown to me.

But the fact that it's got an accident AND mods, that to me shows it was beat on (again possibly)

Keep looking. Be patient-something even better could turn up. Look on here as well. Lot of guys selling cars with much lower miles in great shape
